Conference fee
70 EUR for salaried / waged delegates and presenters
35 EUR for unwaged / student delegates and presenters

These fees are put towards the costs of running the conference. We will make a payment link and/or bank details available as soon as possible.

Please note that, as far as possible, we ask that you make yourself available for the whole of the period of the Biennial, from Thursday morning through to Sunday afternoon. The main reason is, that unlike traditional conferences, we aim to create an experience of not only presenting but also listening to each other and working through the topics collectively. There are the range of different formats as well as debate, discussion and exchange, and this means that we would be curious and eager for participants to actively engage with the conference as a whole, with each other and attend more than the own session.

Hotel arrangements
We have been able to make some discount arrangements with hotels especially for conference participants. They are of course mere suggestions. Amsterdam is full of hotels, but also airbnb and couchsurfing offer many (more affordable) options for accommodation. An email including discount codes has been sent to all participants. If you are participating in the conference, but you have not received this email, please check your spambox. Otherwise send us an email at
