Performance Philosophy (2012) is an international research network for the field of Performance Philosophy. The network is open to all researchers concerned with the relationship between performance & philosophy.
Performance Philosophy is concerned with all aspects of the relationship between philosophy and performance, including the ideas of “performance as philosophy” and “philosophy as performance”.

Performance Philosophy Amsterdam
The organization of the 4th biennial conference Performance Philosophy Amsterdam consists of:
studied Allgemeine Rhetorik and Romanische Philologie in Tübingen (DE) and Dramaturgy in Amsterdam (NL). She teaches dramaturgy at the University of Amsterdam, and at the acting school in Arnhem, ArtEZ, and works on a PhD on sound archives and performing arts. As the coordinator of the International Master Dramaturgy, she organizes international exchanges and events. Ricarda also works as a freelance dramaturg most notably with German radio drama maker Robert Schoen.
studied Theatre Studies and
Philosophy in Amsterdam (NL), where she works since 2015 as a lecturer and
researcher. Taking a phenomenological approach to Theatre and Performance
studies, she is working on a PhD project on tragic spectatorship and apophatic
performance analysis. Since 2016 she has been contributing as external examiner
and advisor to the educational programme of DAS, Master of Theatre (Amsterdam
University of the Arts).
